Love being a technical resource and using your curiosity to help solve problems? The Technical Pre‑Sales team needs an ambitious, motivated individual to be the primary technical resource for sales, providing real‑time assistance during software evaluation via Slack and sales calls.
What will I be doing?- Dive into prospects’ business challenges and identify opportunities to solve them using Auvik’s products.
- Support Account Executives with solution deployments and escalated technical support issues.
- Apply software and networking knowledge, and problem‑solving skills to integrate Auvik into customer environments and third‑party products.
- Convey Auvik’s value by helping prospects improve operating procedures and address network issues.
- Act as liaison between sales, customer success, support, and product teams.
- Document unexpected behavior discovered through customer calls.
- Communicate field experience to product and development teams, contributing to design and improvements.
- Support technical collateral development with sales enablement, product marketing, and marketing teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as trusted advisor.
- Assist with proposals and presentations aligned with customer requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product developments to communicate value propositions.
- 4+ years of relevant experience with formal education or comparable work experience in computer science or networking.
- Experience in technical support with a network equipment provider or networking vendor is highly desirable.
- Hands‑on experience with network design, network management/administration, or network deployment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving and creative thinking skills.
- Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Auvik’s product offerings and competitive landscape.
Salary Range: $75,000–$98,000 CAD. Compensation is based on skills, knowledge, and experience, and is reviewed regularly against market data.
