The MDM SaaS Architect is responsible for envisioning, designing, and leading the implementation of cloud-native Master Data Management (MDM) solutions on platforms such as Informatica MDM SaaS / IDMC. This role bridges business needs
, data architecture
, and platform engineering
, ensuring scalable, reliable, and AI-ready master data capabilities for the enterprise.

• Understand business user pain points and identify appropriate data management solutions
  .
• Conceptualize the end-to-end MDM SaaS solution architecture and present it to business stakeholders for approval.
• Create technical design documents
  , architecture specifications, and performance benchmarks for the MDM SaaS platform.
• Drive definition of data models, match/merge logic, survivorship rules, integration patterns
  , and metadata structures.

• Guide teams in data analysis, mapping, and modeling (technical + functional) in line with the approved MDM solution.
• Ensure data quality, enrichment, and standardization rules align with enterprise policies.
• Oversee modeling for cross-domain relationships to support analytics & AI readiness.

• Provide architectural leadership across the MDM SaaS environment, including:

• Multi-domain MDM configurations
• MDM microservices
• Security & access model (RBAC/ABAC)
• Real-time & batch ingestion patterns
• API-based consumption services

• Ensure adherence to client standards, enterprise metadata definitions, policies, and compliance requirements.

• Oversee integrations with upstream and downstream systems using:

• Real-time REST APIs (Business 360 / B360)
• Batch ingestion (CDI/CDQ pipelines)
• Event-driven patterns

• Ensure harmonization across multiple enterprise systems and platforms.

• Guide development, configuration, testing, and deployment activities across project teams.
• Validate solution designs with user groups and stakeholders.
• Ensure that architectural decisions align with enterprise roadmap & modernization strategy.
• Drive best practices for SaaS MDM setup, configuration, and Dev Ops alignment.

• Support test teams in designing technical and functional test cases to ensure MDM solution accuracy and completeness.
• Validate performance against benchmarks and acceptance criteria.

• Conduct walkthroughs, technical reviews, milestone reviews, and solution validation sessions with:

• Business SMEs
• Data owners
• IT teams
• Integration architects

• Present technical solutions, risks, mitigation strategies, and design alternatives effectively.

• Strong expertise in Informatica MDM SaaS / IDMC
  , including C360, R360, CDI/CDQ
• Hands-on knowledge of data modeling, match/merge rules, survivorship, metadata design
• Experience designing API-based integrations (REST, Mule Soft, real-time events)
• Ability to define and govern data quality
  , stewardship workflows, and ingestion architecture
• Strong understanding of SaaS security, SSO, and cloud architectural principles
• Experience in performance tuning of MDM SaaS solutions

• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across architecture, development, and quality
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

• Prior experience implementing enterprise MDM modernization projects
• Insurance, financial services, or regulated industry domain knowledge
• Exposure to GenAI/AI-driven data quality or metadata automation use cases
• Experience with large-scale data migrations to MDM SaaS

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000 - $135,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
