Position OverviewThe Decision Analyst position serves as a pivotal connection between the Analytics team and functional departments throughout Dutch Bros. This role is responsible for analyzing data to derive actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. By reducing data barriers, fostering a robust data-driven culture, and collaborating closely with teams, the Decision Analyst plays a key role in translating complex data analytics into clear answers for Dutch Bros′ critical questions.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, finance, economics, computer science, data science, etc.), preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in analytics. Direct support of Marketing or Finance, preferred
- Experience working with customer and event level data to support business strategy
- Experience distilling and visualizing complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, data visualization, data management) required
- Experience with analytical tools (Power BI) preferred
- Intermediate SQL, with ability to join disparate datasets
- Familiarity with A/B testing, causal analysis, and regression
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon‑Thurs);
Fridays are optional remote work days.
Perform analytics to support business decision-making
- Analyze data to proactively identify trends, relationships, and patterns
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of business initiatives
- Drive strategic insights and operational efficiencies through data‑driven leadership in analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Apply a diverse array of data analysis techniques—such as quantitative, qualitative, predictive, benchmarking, and diagnostic methods—tailoring your approach to effectively address specific business needs and challenges
Provide trusted analytical expertise to business leaders
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to identify business needs and tailor solutions to support strategic priorities
- Distill analytical findings into actionable insights used to solve pressing business questions for relevant stakeholders
- Craft ad hoc visualizations, dashboards, and reporting to communicate insights effectively
- Clearly explain analytics concepts to non‑analytics stakeholders, fostering shared understanding and accountability
- Build strong, consultative relationships by offering timely, thoughtful analytical support
- Foster trust through open communication, reliability, and a service‑oriented mindset
- Help teams understand the implications of decisions and recommend data‑informed paths forward
Strengthen and enhance existing analytics processes
- Serve as a steward for data quality, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Partner with Analytics peers to understand data sourcing, integrations, and BI aggregations
