Software Architect - IBM Sterling OMSYou will lead the design and delivery of scalable, enterprise‑grade Order Management System (OMS) solutions. You will play a strategic role in defining the overall architecture, driving implementation, and ensuring the platform is optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities- Define end‑to‑end architecture for IBM Sterling OMS implementations and enhancements
- Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance to development teams
- Ensure system scalability, performance optimization, and high availability
- Drive integrations with upstream and downstream enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, CRM, payment gateways, etc.)
- Establish best practices, coding standards, and governance frameworks
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide long‑term architectural solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical designs
- 8+ years of IT experience, including significant hands‑on architecture and solution design experience with IBM Sterling OMS.
- Strong background in Java development at an advanced level.
- Advanced expertise in IBM Sterling Order Management System including configurations, customizations, workflows, SDF, DB extensions, and APIs.
- Strong experience with DB2 and Oracle databases, including performance tuning, indexing, and complex queries.
- Proficiency in XML, JSON, and integration patterns involving MQ, Web Services, and REST APIs.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments (Intermediate/Advanced).
- Hands‑on exposure to GCP (GKE, Artifact Registry, Compute Engine) or equivalent cloud platforms.
