Work Setup: Fully Remote
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000 per year
Clearance: Ability to obtain DHS clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
The SME Management Analyst provides program management, analytics, and reporting support for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
This role delivers subject matter expertise, leads a team of analysts, supports data analytics and dashboard development, and ensures timely execution of government taskings and program deliverables.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide ICE mission expertise across data, processes, systems, and field operations.
Lead collaboration with stakeholders including business teams, Scrum teams, and project managers.
Coordinate responses to data calls, status reports, and ad-hoc requests.
Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions.
Lead analyst team activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and requirements.
Create project deliverables and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Analyze source data to assess project and process effectiveness.
Support documentation and communication between business and technical teams.
Evaluate requirement changes and recommend timely solutions.
Translate complex information into clear written narratives.
Develop presentations, agendas, and visualizations using tools such as PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience (Master’s may reduce experience requirement).
3+ years ICE-specific experience working with ICE data, systems, processes, and personnel.
Ability to obtain and maintain DHS clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Ability to translate ICE mission needs into reports, analytics, and task execution.
Strong data analysis and communication skills.
Experience in project management and program delivery.
Experience leading analytics efforts and guiding analyst teams.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
Experience working on large-scale IT programs.
Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
