Remote SAP​/Hana Security Support Analyst

Location: Conshohocken

One of SGA's major pharmaceutical/healthcare industry clients is looking for a Remote SAP/Hana Security Support Analyst for a long-term contract role. This will be a remote role working EST/CST hours, and assisting a senior SAP Security Architect. This is an intermediate level position

Security/SAP Support Role

Project Context

• Ongoing multi-year SAP security project already in progress
• Current lead Security Architect is split across another large initiative
• This role provides augmentation and hands-on support , not mentorship responsibilities
• Contract extension likely - multi year project

Role Purpose

• Support and work closely with the primary Security Architect
• Serve as the day-to-day point person while still taking guidance
• Act as an intermediary between Business IT and Information Security teams
• Help align requirements, surface risks, and drive forward progress
• Must be able to learn quickly to ramp into a complex, evolving project

Experience & Skill Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in security, SAP, or related technical areas
• Hands-on contributor - not a senior-level architect
• Ability to work independently but still collaborate closely with the lead architect
• Exposure to SAP and cloud migrations (does not need to be expert-level across all domains)
• Must have strong knowledge in at least one SAP security area; can be trained on additional components
• Comfort with shifting priorities and fast-changing work environment
• Able to thrive amid ambiguity and occasional chaos

Day-to-Day Expectations

• Daily coordination between business, IT, and Info Sec teams
• Serve as the central communication point for project needs
• Participate in requirements discussions, review security controls, and support design guidance
• Flexible to change as project priorities evolve
• Expected to absorb and learn significant new material upon onboarding
