Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior People Soft HCM Techno-Functional Consultant with 10+ years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, enhancing, and supporting People Soft HCM applications. The consultant will serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing deep functional expertise and hands-on technical solutions across multiple HCM modules.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
Act as a subject matter expert for People Soft HCM modules including:
Core HR / HRMS
Payroll (North America / Global)
Benefits Administration
Time & Labor
Absence Management
Talent Management (Recruiting, Performance, Learning)
Lead business requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation
Conduct Fit/Gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions
Configure People Soft HCM modules to meet business needs
Prepare and review Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
Support UAT, system testing, and end-user training
Provide post-production support and continuous improvements
Technical Responsibilities
Design, develop, and enhance People Soft HCM solutions using:
People Code (Advanced & Application Classes)
Application Engine
Component Interfaces
Application Designer
SQR, SQL, BI Publisher
Design and support integrations using:
Integration Broker
REST/SOAP web services
Third-party vendor integrations
Perform data conversion, data migration, and reconciliation
Apply People Soft PUM images, tax updates, patches, and bundles
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
Support and enhance People Soft Fluid UI components
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
10+ years of hands-on People Soft HCM techno-functional experience
Strong understanding of HCM business processes and system architecture
Experience with People Tools 9.2
Advanced SQL and debugging skills
Experience in implementation, upgrade, and AMS/support engagements
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
