Verizon's Consumer Wholesale organization plays a crucial role in how Verizon presents itself in the marketplace, enabling additional revenue streams and subscriber growth through consumer-focused MVNO distribution channels.
Joining the Sales Operations and Enablement team, you will focus on resolving the day-to-day network and provisioning tickets that support two strategic reseller relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity. You will also be a Subject Matter Expert for the Network with responsibility to provide escalations and technical support as needed.
As a Senior Engineer Specialist, you will:
Advanced Ticket Resolution:
Provide Tier 3 Network troubleshooting and resolution to VZ Wholesale wireless MVNOsStrategic Partnering:
Work with internal cross-functional teams, such as NRB, NMC, and IT teams, to resolve tickets to resolve issuesOperational Excellence:
Manage the ticketing queue to ensure tickets are being resolved within the timelines and expectations set with our MVNOsTechnical SME & Product Support:
Support Wholesale Product and development teams and serve as technical SME on designated projectsCrisis Management:
Scheduled rotation of after-hours support
You're highly analytical and have an eye for detail and accuracy. A team player who can juggle multiple priorities in a stressful environment. You can take your technical knowledge and background and communicate with internal and external customers in a way that they can understand, sometimes delivering a tough-to-hear message. People look to you to solve problems and dig deep into issues.
You trust your judgment and can communicate your recommendations. You're a great teammate but can also work independently. You like to learn and are flexible in an ever-changing technological and customer-facing environment.
You'll need to have:
Associate's degree or two or more years of work experience.
Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Three + years of experience in network operations and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of wireless networking technologies
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with Local Portability processes
Experience with MARS, MTAS, NSP Lite/Delphi, RTT, WFM, WNP, IOP, ECHO, Airwave, DMD, Syniverse, and Neu Sta, RSSx, Enforce+r
