, as the role requires periodic onsite collaboration with IT and security teams. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise‑level network security technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls and Network Access Control (NAC).

This role is ideal for an experienced network security engineer who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working across architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity functions.

The Network Cybersecurity Engineer will support secure network architecture, firewall configuration, NAC deployment, network segmentation, and threat mitigation across the enterprise. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on Palo Alto firewall platforms and NAC technologies, contributing to secure design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also supports incident response, vulnerability remediation, and security policy development.

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, rule sets, threat profiles, and monitoring
• Architect, deploy, and manage Network Access Control (NAC) platforms, including onboarding workflows, network segmentation, and enforcement policies
• Support secure network design, including routing, switching, segmentation, and zero‑trust principles
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across enterprise environments
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and cloud teams
• Participate in incident response, threat containment, and vulnerability remediation
• Develop and maintain documentation, standards, diagrams, and runbooks
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and modernization projects

• 7+ years of network security engineering experience
• 5+ years hands‑on with Palo Alto firewalls, including design, deployment, and optimization
• 5+ years of NAC design, configuration, and administration
• Strong understanding of routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (layer 2/3), VPNs, and SD‑WAN
• Experience with threat prevention, URL filtering, SSL inspection, and segmentation strategies
• Familiarity with cloud network security (Azure, AWS, or similar)
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Certifications such as PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP Security, or Security+ preferred
