IT Project Manager - Finance

Our client is looking for a an IT Project Manager focused on Financial Systems and Projects to join their team!

Location: 100% Remote but candidates must be based in EST time zone.

Compensation: $70-$75/hour W2.

This role is not open to C2C contract, independent contractors, or 1099.

• Manage IT Finance projects from planning through completion, ensuring end-to-end execution and thorough documentation.
• Drive stakeholder management, facilitating alignment across cross-functional teams without having direct reports.
• Lead all project meetings and communications during normal Eastern Standard Time business hours to ensure consistent collaboration.
• Maintain a high level of professional presence, remaining on camera and fully engaged during all virtual meetings.
• Drive communication timelines and project deliverables while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
• Own the "heavy lifting" of project execution, stepping in to perform hands-on operational tasks and vendor management whenever necessary to meet deadlines.
• Hit the ground running immediately to maintain momentum on high-priority portfolio goals.

• 7+ years of Project Management experience with a heavy focus on Finance systems.
• Strong high-level understanding of Oracle EBS; while you won't be configuring the system, you must understand how it integrates with other platforms.
• Proven track record of managing project life cycles within complex, integration-heavy environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams in a matrixed environment where you do not have formal authority.
• Experience in a dedicated remote environment, including a professional home office setup with high-speed internet and a high-definition webcam.
• Background in Business, Computer Science, or a related field with the ability to translate financial requirements into technical project plans.
