PositionSenior Data Engineer – Remote/Hybrid (three days per month in a U.S. office).
Location:
United States. Remote work flexibility with in‑office expectation for those within commuting distance to our U.S. offices.
- Build and maintain new data integration pipelines feeding our data lakes and warehouses while continuously optimizing them.
- Work with internal team members and stakeholders to scope business requirements and deliver analytics via our Looker platform.
- Continuously improve data transformation and consumption processes for efficient system performance and quick data access.
- Champion coding standards and best practices through code reviews and tool improvement.
- Ensure security and stability of our multi‑cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Analytics engineers to guarantee data integrity and the quality of our deliverables.
- Degree in a quantitative field (computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, data science) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years building and optimizing data pipelines with Python.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries for data analysis.
- Experience with at least one cloud service platform (GCP and AWS preferred).
- Experience with Apache Spark, Beam, or similar framework for data at scale.
- Experience with Pub/Sub and Apache Kafka streaming architectures.
- Strong Python and SQL skills;
Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus. - Eager to learn new technologies and propose optimization solutions.
Salary – New York: $ – $ (subject to location, experience, and performance).
