The Technical Services Specialist is responsible to assist field personnel and clients (national retail chains) with electronic/telephonic/video/on-site support services to ensure our client’s EAS retail security systems service and installation projects are handled with the highest degree of quality. This is a role for someone who is highly experienced in retail security installations and service, RFID technology, low voltage, and is capable of troubleshooting and helping those in the field or at the stores solve technical issues remotely, or if the problem cannot be resolved that way, in person at locations nationwide.
Responsibilities- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by efficiently coordinating installation and service support delivery between client representatives and company's Certified Services Providers (CSP’s).
- Develop and maintain Scope of Work procedures for all company products and clientele and direct all CSP’s to such documentation.
- Improve the caliber of each CSP via support calls, on-site training and certification programs.
- Update design renderings to meet architectural and building design needs for company system installations.
- Verify and update all Nedap account maintenance in Device Manager as required for client services.
- Effectively navigate all company sponsored products via the associated portals and repositories to ensure all data is updated in a timely manner and that network accessed systems are operational.
- Assist the Client Solutions Delivery team with the review and approval of all relevant service and installation documentation from our Certified Services Providers.
- Effectively attend all assigned conference calls and communicate effectively with all parties as required.
- Communicate professionally and responsibly with internal and external installation resources, company representatives, clients, client agents and third-party service providers.
- Manage client and site escalations.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software
- Formal technical or electronic repair education (or military equivalent) mandatory.
- Networked systems experience and certification(s).
- Solid problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of RF, AM and RFID EAS systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Capable of performing well in a remote working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
