Senior Business Analyst – Agile, Data Analytics

Must have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with a robust foundation in analytics and project management.
• Proficient in utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other visualization platforms to craft impactful dashboards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies within Agile frameworks to efficiently oversee complex projects.
• Skilled in SQL programming with hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle databases, alongside familiarity with database design principles.
• Practical experience with ETL processes utilizing Talend or scripting languages such as Bash; knowledgeable in R and Python for data analysis tasks.
• Strong business analytical abilities with a talent for interpreting technical data into actionable business insights.
• Acquainted with analytical tools such as VBA and Visio for process mapping and automation.
• Understanding of linked data concepts and integration methods across various platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills paired with analytical thinking for effective collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead extensive business analysis initiatives by collecting requirements, establishing project scope, and documenting processes using tools such as Visio.
• Create and sustain interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to effectively convey insights to stakeholders.
• Architect and realize database solutions, encompassing database design, SQL queries, and data modeling with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle by adhering to SDLC best practices within Agile methodologies to guarantee timely solution delivery.
• Employ ETL tools like Talend or custom Bash scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various sources for comprehensive analysis.
• Conduct advanced data investigations using R, Python, VBA, and other programming languages to detect trends, anomalies, and avenues for enhancing processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams throughout project management efforts, ensuring alignment with business objectives while meeting deadlines.
• Facilitate looker-based data exploration projects by developing user-friendly interfaces for non-technical users.
• Participate in database design activities for linked data architectures that promote data integration across systems.
• Execute meticulous data analysis utilizing SQL and analytical proficiency to guide strategic decision-making.
