The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services including Information Technology project delivery, maintenance and support. This position is within Agency Services Supporting Michigan Department of Civil Service (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP).

This position serves as a senior-level member within a team of technology professionals. The Dynamics CRM Developer provides support for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) agencies, with a primary focus on MiLEAP. Responsibilities include all phases of the software development lifecycle, such as requirements gathering, planning, design, testing, implementation, and documentation—related to highly complex Dynamics Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

SIGNING BONUSThis position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $2,500. Up to $1,250 to be paid upon new hire and the remainder to be paid after satisfactory completion of the initial probationary period (12‑month period). This does not apply to current state employees.
ITPA 12 - Position Description Position Location/Remote OfficeThe office location is Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out‑of‑state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on‑site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.

Education Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12Possession of a Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management or mathematics.
Experience Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
Information Technology Programmer/Analyst 12Possession of an associate's degree with 16 semester (24 term) credits in computer science, information assurance, data processing, computer information, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, IT project management, or mathematics and two years of experience as an application programmer, computer operator, or information technology technician; or two years (4,160 hours) of experience as an Information Technology Student Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
