Location: Netherlands
- Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)
- Rate: USD 62-120/hour
We are seeking a highly analytical Statistical Consultant to contribute expertise in statistical methodology, data validation, and AI model training. In this fully remote contract role, you will apply advanced quantitative techniques to support the development and refinement of AI-driven systems. Your work will ensure data integrity, methodological rigor, and ethical best practices across diverse analytical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships
- Evaluate and refine statistical methodologies to ensure validity, reliability, and efficiency
- Prepare, clean, and validate data for AI model training and advanced analytical applications
- Develop clear, compelling reports and visualizations, including charts, graphs, and data narratives
- Recommend appropriate statistical techniques aligned with research objectives and AI performance goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical insights into actionable AI improvements
- Conduct data quality assurance checks, including weighting, normalization, and anomaly detection
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and ethical AI principles
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and methodology evaluation
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software and programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, and SPSS
- Strong experience in data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly
- Experience supporting AI model training or data-driven technology initiatives
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Prior experience in AI model development, evaluation, or machine learning workflows
- Knowledge of data privacy frameworks and ethical AI best practices
