Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Greater London

A leading provider and Developer of DeFi infrastructure and software, building the next generation of on-chain finance and DeFi liquidity infrastructure on Solana, and offering a dual-protocol system designed to help safeguard traders from major market events for the safety and growth of crypto worldwide.

Their offer tackles current DeFi platforms reliance on over-collateralized lending, forcing users to lock up liquidity, juggle multiple protocols, and face high liquidation risks.

Their solution enables under-collateralized borrowing, programmable margin accounts, and composable strategies, all through one seamless app. It unlocks capital efficiency, reduces risk, and makes DeFi more accessible and powerful.

They are looking for a Rust Smart Contract Engineer to join our core engineering team and help shape the backbone of Glow's protocol.

Missions

You'll design, build, and optimize Rust-based smart contracts that power Glow's DeFi infrastructure, working closely with product and protocol teams to create scalable, secure, and innovative financial primitives.

Core Contributor Responsibilities
  • Design and implement smart contracts in Rust for Glow's Solana-based protocol.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate, experiment, and ship high-impact protocol features.

  • Deploy, monitor, and operate on-chain services in production.
  • Continuously look for innovative solutions to complex DeFi and protocol challenges through rigorous experimentation.
Requirements

Must have:

  • Minimum 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
  • 1–3 years working with Rust and other Web3 technologies.
  • Proven experience shipping smart contracts that handle real funds in production.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain architecture and smart contract design.
  • Ownership mindset and ability to move fast in an experimental, high-impact environment.
  • Passion for DeFi, on-chain innovation, and open-source development.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Solana, Anchor, or other Rust-based blockchain frameworks.
  • Contributions to open-source DeFi or protocol codebases.
  • Background in financial systems, derivatives, or risk management logic.
  • Previous experience in a startup or early-stage Web3 team.
