What you’ll do- Ownership of GRC KPI reporting, including delivery of consolidated GRC metrics, management reporting.
- Analysis of key GRC data, including the cyber risk register, policy exceptions, audit findings and data security reviews and the preparation of reporting as necessary to satisfy Sky’s cyber reporting requirements at both a management and Executive level.
- Review and process cybersecurity policy exception requests, ensuring they align with governance, risk and compliance expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and business units to communicate risks and ensure exception governance.
- Assess security and business risks associated with each exception and recommend mitigation actions.
- Undertaking of tasks related to collation and analysis of GRC data, highlighting key trends and inconsistencies to our internal teams.
- Aid in ensuring development of a robust reporting capability.
- Support and assist the GRC team to determine the best way to collate and use our data to report in the most meaningful way.
- Contribute to the thinking on the approach to the reporting solutions required and help shape the offering.
- Experience working in cyber or technology governance, risk or compliance.
- A strong understanding of potential consequences and significance, to Sky and its customers, for non‑compliance to defined internal policies and externally mandated regulation.
- Organised approach to track and monitor policy exceptions records for timely remediation or renewal.
- Experience working with local and off‑site teams.
- Experience in contributing to continuous improvement of governance workflows, controls, and reporting of KPIs.
- Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing documentation of exceptions and related risk decisions.
- Experience in SQL is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with teams across the organisation.
- Ability to work at pace with attention to detail while delivering under short time constraints
- Clear business acumen, patience, pragmatism, strong judgemental and problem‑solving skills to solve problems and make recommendations.
