Responsibilities- The IT Project and Deployment Coordinator role within the ITG (Information Technology Group) is responsible for coordinating assigned IT projects, deployments and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately.
- Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, facilitates project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems.
- Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.
- Principles and practices of project coordination / management.
- Requirements gathering.
- Financial management.
- Procurement rules and regulations.
- Software products to aid in your management of projects.
- Experience with managing technical resources and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
- Strong technical background in IT infrastructure with an emphasis on technology development / deployment.
- Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent technical writing, reviewing and editing skills.
- Working knowledge of and ability to apply industry-standard project management best practices.
- Working knowledge of and ability to apply IT Service Management best practices.
- Strong customer service and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Excellent self-organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations.
- Ability to synthesize feedback and adjust plans accordingly.
