• Lead the end-to-end scoping, execution, and delivery of diverse projects involving heavy data and statistical modeling
• Translate clients’ business needs into bespoke technical approaches that drive outcomes
• Independently explore and document new possibilities with data to solve complex problems
• Serve as a technical advisor and data expert for internal project partners
• Collaborate with other teams to prototype and iterate analyses to scale work across the organization

• BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or other equivalent quantitative science
• 7+ years of industry experience as a data scientist or in a data-heavy role with client interaction
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, and/or R
• Demonstrated ability to tailor technical communication to various audiences
• Experience with applied statistics across different data types and sizes

• Masters/PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or equivalent quantitative science
• Experience working with marketing insights, shopping data, or in the retail industry
• Track record of delivering innovative solutions supported by production-ready code
• Enthusiasm for identifying new business and product opportunities
