SAP Finance Operations Engineer – 2nd Level Support

We are looking for a new colleague into ourApplication Operations teamproviding 2nd level support for Finance applications – mainly international SAP FI/CO and SAP London BW systems. Our user base is located across Europe and Asia, therefore we communicate mainly in English. We also closely cooperate with our experienced Developers and Business Experts in Prague and Germany.

• Mornings start with simple daily and monthly checks and activities.
• During the day, there will be regular or ad-hoc tasks related to issues, master data maintenance (GL accounts, company codes, ECCS consolidation, profit centers), payment process, foreign exchange revaluation process, system errors, job and SAP BW process chains monitoring, job maintenance within SAP and UC4
• From the end users you will receive questions and queries requiring deep analysis, testing and fixes or updates.
• Raising and maintaining requests, tasks, incidents, changes and problems.
• Coordination of production releases.
• Preparations of reports based on user or audit requirements.
• You will take part in daily and weekly meetings with our colleagues from Development or the Cluster.
• Communication with end users mainly via email or ticketing system.
• Cooperation and sharing tasks with other colleagues from our Application Operations team.

• Strong sense of responsibility
• Financial accounting, controlling experience
• Key user, support or junior business analysis experience with SAP R/3 FI, CO, SAP BW or similar
• Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
• General or higher IT know-how
• Customer orientation
• Easy going attitude
• Great communication skills in English, Czech is not required.
• Willingness to learn
