Data Engineer; Alteryx ETL

Overview

We are hiring a Data Engineer to join our team remotely! This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining ETL processes and data warehouse solutions. You'll work on a small, collaborative, agile team that partners closely with the business to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.

• 6+ years gathering requirements and developing ETL technical specifications
• 6+ years designing and building ETL jobs using ETL tools
  • Alteryx experience strongly preferred (2+ years)
• 6+ years developing data loads (incremental, full/history, survivorship rules)
• 4+ years implementing Change Data Capture (CDC)
• 6+ years testing, debugging, and supporting ETL processes
• 6+ years writing and optimizing complex SQL
• 2+ years of ETL job scheduling
• 2+ years loading data warehouses using ETL tools

• Experience managing multiple ETL tools
• Experience with data quality tools and frameworks
• Experience using source control tools (Git/Git Hub)
• Experience mentoring or guiding other ETL developers

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integrations
• Build and manage data loads for enterprise data warehouses
• Implement and maintain CDC solutions
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL jobs and SQL performance
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
• Support data quality, consistency, and reliability initiatives
• Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $59.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
