- Design, build, and deploy robust ML/AI models for applications in drug discovery, clinical trials, bioinformatics, and operational excellence.
- Architect and implement scalable AI/ML platforms and solution frameworks across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines to process large volumes of structured and unstructured scientific and clinical data.
- Translate complex scientific and business problems into practical AI/ML solution designs.
- Evaluate, select, and implement state-of-the-art algorithms including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI.
- Lead model lifecycle management including training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize and product ionize ML models with focus on performance, scalability, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish AI architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
- Guide and mentor AI/ML teams; conduct design reviews and technical oversight.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, clinical, and product teams.
- Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and regulated industry requirements (GxP, HIPAA, etc., where applicable).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or related field (PhD preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with architecture or technical leadership responsibilities.
- Strong hands‑on experience with ML/DL frameworks (Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, etc.).
- Proven experience designing and deploying production‑grade AI/ML systems.
- Expertise in data engineering and pipeline design for large‑scale datasets.
- Experience with NLP, deep learning, and generative AI techniques.
- Strong programming skills in Python and related AI ecosystem tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, and versioning practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving and architectural design skills.
