Compensation: $178,000 – $223,000 base salary (plus equity and comprehensive benefits)
Clearance: Active Top Secret required
MissionThis organization is advancing the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to the most critical challenges in national defense and public sector operations. As a member of the Public Sector Delivery team, you will ensure government and defense customers achieve mission success through exceptional implementation, integration, and long-term partnership.
You’ll serve as both strategist and operator—owning account plans, driving delivery, and ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, operations, and client stakeholders. The ultimate goal: deliver measurable, repeatable value in support of U.S. national security AI/ML objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer relationships from senior executives to technical end users, ensuring alignment and mission impact
- Lead onboarding and implementation
, overseeing operational success and ensuring projects deliver against objectives - Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to deliver cutting-edge AI/ML solutions and resolve technical issues
- Identify risks and preempt challenges
, maintaining long-term customer satisfaction and contract health - Develop scalable frameworks that make customer success repeatable across the organization
- Partner with client teams to understand operational and technical pain points, advocating for improvements with internal engineering resources
- Engage directly with customer technical teams
, providing hands-on support for AI/ML deployment, troubleshooting, and user adoption
Required:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including customer-facing roles in technical program management, government services, or professional engagement management
- Solid understanding of machine learning operations (MLOps) and strong aptitude to master generative AI workflows
- Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder relationships and complex technical programs
- Proven track record of analytics-driven problem solving and structured project execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, cross-functional work style with strong initiative and follow-through
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Preferred:
- Experience in defense technology
, AI companies
, or dual-use innovation environments - Proficiency in Python, SQL
, or similar programming languages - Deep understanding of ML operations for generative AI workflows
- Background in modeling, simulation, or wargaming
- Prior experience supporting or delivering technology to U.S. government or defense customers
- Base Salary Range (Washington, DC): $178,000 – $223,000 USD
