Responsibilities:

• Excellent communication skills to include verbal, written and presentation.
• LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP) stack is acceptable; OPAL (Oracle, PHP, Apache, and Linux) stack is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, Oracle / ANSI SQL Syntax.

Qualifications:

• Experienced with SQL and database schema design;
  Oracle DBMS experience is preferred.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Awareness of web standards, their purpose, benefits and appropriateness.
• Ability to understand customer experience and create optimal experiences using modern web technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a remote development team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of AJAX and its appropriate usage.
• Expert understanding of MVC concepts and usage in an Object Oriented PHP environment; experience with Kohana MVC framework is preferred.
• Experience working with source code version control systems such as Subversion, CVS, Git, PVCS, RCS, Clear Case, etc.;
  Subversion is preferred.
• Pluses include Perl and Unix Shell Scripting.
