We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our remote team and take ownership of building and scaling data solutions using Databricks on AWS
. This is a hands-on senior IC role with strong influence on architecture and implementation.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL / ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and AWS
- Work with large, complex datasets in production environments
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Python and advanced SQL
- Build pipelines from scratch
, not just maintain existing ones - Ensure data quality, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate closely with product, analytics, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and data engineering best practices
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong, hands-on experience with:
Python, SQL (advanced), PySpark, Databricks (production experience required) and AWS - Proven experience designing and building end-to-end data pipelines
- Solid understanding of distributed data processing and data modeling
- Fluent English

Salary range: $60,000 - $110,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role's scope.
LocationThis is a fully remote position
; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific,
Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.
