Scrum Master

Our client is looking for a Scrum Master to join their team!

Location: Hybrid in the Kansas City area (3 days onsite per week, 2 days per week of remote work)

Compensation: $45-$50/hour W2

Please note this role is not open on C2C or third-party candidates.

• Facilitate all standard ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Grooming, Demos, and Retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners and Development Managers to manage roadmaps and project scopes.
• Gather project sizing data to ensure accurate estimation and timely billing while making informed decisions within defined methodologies.
• Identify and remove impediments using strong analytical skills to resolve bottlenecks.
• Track and gather KPIs to drive data-informed improvements across assigned teams.
• Foster a culture of transparency and empowerment, coaching the team to break down business requirements into actionable stories and tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-6 years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master using Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Flexible mindset; open to evolving processes in a transformative environment.
• Active certifications such as CSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP.
• Proven track record in software development projects and proficiency with JIRA.
• Advanced negotiation and conflict management skills to resolve issues.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment within defined practices.
• Technical background in microservices, web technologies, cloud services, and automation tools.

Please note this is not a senior-level role. We are looking for 3-6 years of Scrum Master experience.
