SQL Database Engineer to join our data infrastructure team. This role requires deep expertise in No

SQL technologies, scripting, cloud platforms, and Dev Ops tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing distributed database systems, with a focus on configuration management, performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Design, implement, and maintain No
  
  SQL database solutions including Cassandra and Postgres. Mongo
  
  DB is a plus.
• Administer Cassandra clusters: install, configure, upgrade, and perform rolling restarts and version upgrades with minimal downtime.
• Manage cluster nodes (add/remove nodes, decommissioning, replacements).
• Administer Postgre
  
  SQL databases: installation, configuration, performance monitoring and tuning, high availability, and monitoring.
• Monitor database performance and proactively address issues related to availability, latency, and data integrity.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices using tools such as Ansible and Git.
• Standardize and automate configuration of database environments across development, QA, and production.
• Ensure consistency and compliance of system configurations through automated validation, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Maintain documentation of configuration standards and change‑management procedures.
• Develop automation scripts in Bash and Python to streamline database operations.
• Manage infrastructure in Linux environments.
• Work with Microsoft Azure to support hybrid and multi‑cloud database deployments.
• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and infrastructure automation.

• 7+ years of experience in database engineering or a related field.
