Advantech GS Enterprises is seeking an experienced Azure Data QA Engineer to support the DISA NEXUS cloud and data modernization program. This role will lead quality assurance activities for cloud-based and data-driven systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and data integrity across Azure environments supporting DoD missions.

, and is comfortable working in regulated, security-focused environments.

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for Azure cloud and data platforms
• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated testing solutions
• Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency using complex SQL queries
• Support testing across CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution with engineering teams
• Perform regression testing to ensure system stability following enhancements
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define and validate acceptance criteria
• Review code and contribute to QA standards, best practices, and process improvements
• Maintain detailed QA documentation, metrics, and reporting
• Mentor junior QA staff and promote continuous improvement

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Hands-on experience supporting Azure-based applications or data platforms
• Strong experience validating data using SQL
• Experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium or similar frameworks)
• Experience supporting CI/CD workflows
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (DoD experience preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience
• Degree in a technology-related field preferred (no specific degree type required)

• No certifications required (certifications are a plus but not mandatory)
