Responsible for configuring and optimizing our core operating systems to support sales and service operations. This role ensures our technology platforms are set up to drive efficiency, improve customer experience, and support business growth.
- Configure and maintain the agency management system to support daily workflows, reporting needs, and compliance requirements; define configuration requirements and audit for accuracy and effectiveness
- Design and manage phone system routing to optimize call distribution, reduce wait times, and improve connection rates; define requirements and audit success
- Set up and refine comparative rater configurations to ensure accurate quoting across carriers and products; define rating requirements and audit quote accuracy
- Partner with operations leaders to translate business needs into system configurations
- Monitor system performance and make adjustments based on results and feedback
- Document configurations and maintain standards for consistency
- Train team members on system functionality and best practices
- Coordinate with vendors and IT on technical requirements and troubleshooting
- Experience in insurance operations, preferably personal lines
- Hands-on experience configuring business systems (AMS, phone/IVR, rating platforms)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into system setups
- Effective communicator who can work across departments
