IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
Introduction
A Healthcare client is looking for a Healthcare Project Manager. This candidate must have experience managing IT systems within a clinical or hospital environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manages all aspects of project delivery including schedule, cost, tasks, dependencies, project meetings and milestones.
- Develops detailed project schedules and works with the project team to deliver projects within scope and budget.
- Implements Project Management best practices to identify risks, develop plans to manage change and develop solutions to project challenges.
- Work with internal and external customers regarding changes to project scope, and assessment of possible constraints.
- Coordinate interactions with internal departments in the areas of contracting, operations, and solution design.
- Provide direction for clients, staff, and vendors to resolve problems within project, program, or project level activities using well developed negotiation and professional skills.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings and prepare necessary status reports to ensure project tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
- Lead cross-functional teams through requirement gathering, testing, and implementation activities.
- Manage escalations, issues, and risks, and change management plans to ensure adequate attention to impediments with potential impact to time/quality/resources.
- Prepare, maintain, and submit management reports (progress/status reports, time recording, and escalations). This includes the timely escalation of risks, required decisions, and recommended resolution.
- Execute projects properly leveraging project planning resources and tools to meet expectations. Identifies and owns the timely resolution of project impediments.
Permanent position based out of Roanoke, VA.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $/yr. Benefits are subject to change and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
