Koniag Technology & Innovation Solutions (KTIS), a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Senior Service Now Developer to support KTIS and our government customer with Service Now Customer Service Management (CSM) implementation to support a 24/7 contact center.
This is a remote role. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Service Now Architect/Developer will lead and support new Service Now implementations for a federal help desk ticketing environment. This role requires both architectural leadership and hands‑on development, including platform design, configuration, and integration.
The ideal candidate has experience building Service Now environments from the ground up (greenfield deployments), defining platform standards, and guiding teams through implementation and adoption. Experience integrating Service Now with Amazon Connect or contact center platforms is highly desirable.
This individual will be energetic and committed to operational excellence and capable of supporting U.S. federal government programs across teams of varying sizes to achieve client objectives.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & ImplementationLead design and implementation of a new Service Now help desk/ticketing platform
Define platform architecture, development standards, and governance practices
Configure and deploy out-of-the-box and custom Service Now applications
Design data models, workflows, and service catalog structures
Establish role‑based access control and security model
Develop and configure workflows, forms, business rules, and integrations
Build and support scoped Service Now applications
Configure ITSM/CSM modules and case management processes
Implement automation and orchestration to improve operational efficiency
Design and implement integrations between Service Now and external systems
Support API‑based integrations and event‑driven architecture
(Bonus) Integrate Service Now with Amazon Connect or contact center platforms
Support platform operations, enhancements, and continuous improvement
Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
Assist in release management and deployment activities
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of Service Now development/architecture experience
Experience implementing Service Now in a new deployment or major re‑implementation
Strong experience with ITSM and/or CSM modules
Experience designing workflows, automation, and service catalog structures
Experience with systems integration (REST/SOAP APIs)
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) or higher certification
Experience with CSM, ITSM, ITAM, or Sec Ops modules
Experience implementing role‑based access and enterprise authentication (SSO/MFA)
Experience with
Amazon Connect integration or contact center platformsExperience with Now Assist / AI capabilities
Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrixed, client‑focused environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive consensus across teams
Ability to obtain a Public Trust
