Job SummaryAs a Project Manager within Professional Services at Genesys, you will lead complex cloud implementation projects that help organizations transform their customer experience strategies. You will serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, ensuring successful delivery from discovery through post‑go‑live stabilization. This role requires strong leadership, structured project governance, and close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end implementation projects from discovery through deployment and transition to support.
- Serve as the primary liaison between client stakeholders and internal Genesys teams.
- Build trusted relationships with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, and partner teams.
- Guide cross‑functional project teams and provide clear direction aligned with client objectives.
- Deliver projects within approved budgets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans using Microsoft Project and Genesys methodologies.
- Create integrated project plans that coordinate client, Genesys, and third‑party vendor activities.
- Facilitate weekly project status meetings and drive action items to resolution.
- Prepare and distribute structured weekly status reports using standardized templates.
- Conduct monthly executive‑level updates with project sponsors and senior client leadership.
- Monitor scope, schedule, and budget, proactively communicating risks and mitigation strategies.
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks through structured problem‑solving and stakeholder alignment.
- Drive revenue growth by managing Project Change Requests when scope expands.
- Recommend scalable solutions that address evolving business and technical requirements.
- Capture lessons learned and propose performance improvements for future implementations.
- Suggest process enhancements that optimize delivery efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Demonstrate 5 or more years of Professional Services project management experience.
- Deliver complex software implementation projects with measurable business impact.
- Utilize Microsoft Project or comparable enterprise project management tools effectively.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in matrixed environments.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with technical and executive stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with technical delivery teams and solution architects.
- Apply structured problem‑solving and strategic thinking skills.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Travel up to 30 percent to client sites as required.
- Work remotely within the United States.
