KēSTA I.T is actively seeking a Business Analyst for an immediate contract engagement with our government client.

Work Location: This position is Hybrid

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on business goals and technical solutions.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Lead discussions with developers and architects to bridge business requirements with technical constraints.
• Work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and project timelines.
• Analyze project data to extract actionable insights that support informed decision-making.
• Evaluate build vs. buy decisions for software solutions based on business needs and technical feasibility.
• Assess modernization of legacy systems, integration strategies, or new application development approaches.
• Lead initiatives involving cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and promote best practices in requirements analysis and documentation.

• 12+ years of Business Analyst experience translating business processes into technical requirements.
• 8+ years eliciting requirements and supporting technical design documentation for large-scale application initiatives.
• Strong experience reviewing technical designs for accuracy, completeness, and quality standards.
• Knowledge of modern software development practices including Agile, Dev Ops, and contemporary development frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with process modeling tools for flowcharts, data models, and business process diagrams.
• Familiarity with legacy, core, and emerging technologies and business process reengineering techniques.

• Strong communication skills across technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile, Hybrid, or traditional SDLC environments, including writing user stories.
• Understanding of enterprise application integration, databases, APIs, middleware, and cloud environments.
• Ability to identify system gaps and recommend solutions through new development, integrations, or enhancements.
• Capability to break down complex requirements into actionable technical tasks while considering constraints.
