As a Senior Technical Product Manager for the platform, you willbeat the forefrontto define and drive a set of large-scale, cross-company initiativespowered byData Access Services. These services areused by almost every
Autodesk industry verticalproductto store and manage CAD data on the cloud and provide granular API access.
In this role, you’ll overseeexpanding the service capabilities of the foundational service, Autodesk Data Models, from the lens of the Manufacturingindustry. You’ll berequired to learn aboutcloud platformsystemsandmanufacturingsoftwarethathelpdesign&manufactureconsumer and industrial products.
Additionally, you will make sure that the foundational services scale to support exabytes of data while operating at low-latency performance, secure & compliant storage, highly resilient and with a delightful developer experience that facilitates onboarding of products onto the platform.
You will build roadmaps which not only articulates technical investments but how it impacts business outcomes with a data-driven approach and work with stakeholders to onboard more data onto the platform which enables innovation in the Manufacturingindustry.
Furthermore, you will work with a pool of talented Engineers, Experience Designers, Product Managers, and Software Architects to deliver best-in-class enhancements that meet company objectives and goals.
You areexpected to bean excellent communicator andcomfortable speaking with junior engineers as you are with senior executives.
Responsibilities
Drive the vision and strategy for foundational datamanagementsolutions thatcan scale and perform underdemanding read andwriteoperations
Lay out an API strategy that enables easier platform onboarding of internal customers.
Develop and manage relationships with architecture, engineering, and product teamsto deliver customer outcomesat scale and low-latency performance.
Manage product lifecycle, including product roadmap, release planning, and positioning.
Work directly with Autodesk product teamsand 3rdparty developer ecosystemto define, prioritize, and plan development of new features and capabilities.
Articulateplatformvalue tointernal stakeholderswhile differentiatingplatformfrom competitive offerings.
Distill high-level customer outcomes into low-level capabilities that are easily understood and executed by engineering team through detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD)
Minimum Qualifications
BS Degree in Computer Scienceorequivalent
Experience in building data management solutions at scale andwith low-latencyperformance
Experience in platform cost optimization strategies andmitigationplans
5+ years of product management experience in a SaaS/Technology companybuildingplatforms
Passion for data and finding ways for it to beorganized, accessed, andused to address customerproblems.
Ability to easily articulate complex technical and business concepts in simply understood terms.
Ability to take high-level outcomes and distill them into low-levelrequirements
Strong prioritization, relationship building, and organization skillswith exceptional storytelling.
Being at ease leading and influencing cross-functional teamsand junior team members
Experience and comfortablemanaging stakeholders, risk, andambiguity.
Ability to effectively collaborate with a global team and travel for work on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications
BS Degree in Computer Scienceor Engineering
