Role Overview :
As a Mid-Level QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans for SaaS, web, and mobile applications. You will work closely with product and development teams to identify bugs, ensure quality at every stage of the development lifecycle, and implement advanced automation and AI/ML-driven testing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure product quality.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
Utilize AI/ML testing tools and techniques to identify anomalies and optimize test coverage.
Develop and maintain test automation scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
Track, report, and manage defects using Jira or other defect-tracking tools.
Review and provide feedback on user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
Continuously improve QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Assist in performance testing and load testing for SaaS applications.
Mentor junior QA engineers and support knowledge sharing.
Required
Skills & Experience:
3–5 years of QA experience in SaaS, web, and mobile applications .
Hands-on experience with manual testing and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
Strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Experience with AI/ML testing or testing intelligent systems is a plus.
Proficient in defect tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.) and test management tools (Test Rail, Zephyr).
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into Dev Ops workflows.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with SQL and database validation .
