Responsibilities- Lead the design, development, and implementation of network technology solutions to support evolving business requirements.
- Partner closely with Network Operations (NOC) and Solution Engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Integrate new technologies into the existing enterprise network environment, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance.
- Proactively identify risks, gaps, and opportunities within the network infrastructure and drive remediation or improvement initiatives.
- Test, validate, and certify new software images and hardware platforms to ensure secure and reliable deployment.
- Maintain, audit, and enforce network configuration standards to ensure compliance, security, and operational consistency.
- Execute strategic initiatives aligned with the enterprise network architecture roadmap.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing exercises, security reviews, and audit activities.
- Actively engage in global collaboration channels, sharing relevant technical updates, best practices, and operational insights.
- Experience:
5-7 years of proven experience in network engineering within an IT environment. - Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in technologies such as Routing/Switching, SD-WAN, Wireless, Firewall, F5, Cloud, Load Balancer, Zabbix, Z Scaler. - Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Skills:
Knowledge of network architecture, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in developing and implementing technological solutions. - Soft Skills:
Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

The annual salary for this position is between $49,001– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
