Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI Developer

W2 only, no Subs or corp to corps allowed. Remote work with occasional on‑site meetings in Columbia, SC. The client does not pay for travel.

Up to 12 months, with option of extension.

Part of the team responsible for supporting Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI. Involved in day‑to‑day operations associated with Power BI and will evaluate and modernize financial reporting capabilities using Power BI. The role will address the volume of financial systems, interdependencies, and structured and unstructured data sources. The team ensures solutions are set up following industry best practices to comply with federal and state regulatory laws and maintain business continuity.

• Support and maintain Microsoft Power Platform and Power BI solutions.
• Assist in the design and development of complex web intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into data models and reports.
• Work with security and data classification standards including CDC, HIPAA, and CJIS.
• Ensure solutions adhere to best practices and regulatory compliance.

• Power BI (4–6 years of experience).
• Design of complex web intelligence reports and dashboards (2–4 years of experience).
• Microsoft Access (advanced, 2–4 years of experience).
• Azure Power Platform (advanced, 2–4 years of experience).
• Business Analysis experience: data flow diagrams, requirement specifications, use case scenarios, acceptance testing (advanced, 2–4 years).
• Data modeling, data warehousing (entry to advanced, 4–6 years of experience).
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (expert, 2–4 years).
• Networking & directory access controls experience (advanced, 2–4 years).
• Background checks and security compliance required.
