IT Helpdesk Specialist

Job Purpose

To provide front-line technical support by troubleshooting basic issues and supporting other IT members in resolving problems.

Include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed)

• Install, troubleshoot and repair minor computer, printer, hardware and software issues.
• Install computer peripheral components, such as memory, circuit boards & other parts.
• Install software / packages such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, drawing software and any other approved applications.
• Provide and manage cable connections for telephone & network.
• Manage all the equipment in IT room and storage.
• Manage IT supplies and oversee procurement and purchasing process.
• Manage and prioritize helpdesk tickets using helpdesk software.
• Manage and track all IT assets (hardware & software).

Prefer - Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with 1 year of experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Office, emailing clients, and common business applications.
• Troubleshooting PC, printers, scanners, PDA, and tablets.
• Basic understanding of IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi setup and troubleshooting.
• Work well with other IT members and teams.
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor when working with users.
• Logical approach to diagnosing issues and identifying root causes.
