Azure Dev Ops Engineer (Remote) – Toronto, ON
NTT DATA seeks a highly skilled Azure Dev Ops Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions. The role focuses on Microsoft Azure, Terraform, and Fin Ops practices to drive financial accountability and operational excellence in a global, security‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Manage and enhance CI/CD pipelines, guaranteeing reliability and high performance of critical infrastructure.
Collaborate with IT teams to streamline deployment processes, system configurations, and compliance management.
Monitor and optimize pipeline configurations to provide real‑time visibility into network performance and health.
Stay current with Azure, Terraform, and Fin Ops best practices to continuously improve the IT environment.
Evaluate and select new technologies to enhance organizational capabilities.
Apply cloud, server, and networking principles in an enterprise context.
Engineer, test, and recommend secure infrastructures, acting as a resource for system escalation issues.
Document platform standards and processes for ongoing operations.
Gather business requirements, validate solution designs, and support change management.
Schedule and coordinate installation and maintenance of cloud resources, ensuring a stable, secure environment.
Perform root‑cause analysis on failures and implement corrective measures.
Provide ongoing insights to leadership, customers, and peers regarding enhancements and innovations.
Adhere to company systems‑engineering standards and provide executive‑level technical support.
Conduct root‑cause analyses for high‑severity issues and manage CRQ deployments during weekends and holidays.
Participate in on‑call support shifts to address critical incidents.
Develop and deliver technical documentation on Dev Ops/Fin Ops processes and training for L2/L3 engineers.
Serve as an operational resource for internal and external projects.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Dev Ops or cloud engineering.
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Terraform in a complex, security‑focused organization.
Solid understanding of Fin Ops and cloud cost‑management tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Power Shell, Bash, and Python.
Expertise in designing, deploying, and managing Azure solutions while ensuring security and performance.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline management and configuration.
Experience in evaluating, testing, and implementing secure cloud infrastructures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with global teams.
