Overview  Saatchi & Saatchi Canada is currently opening a new Dev Ops Engineer position to support an innovative AI initiative. This role is part of a growing teamwith immediate start dates. We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and Dev Ops practices, who is passionate about automation, reliability, and enabling development teams to deliver value efficiently.

A strong understanding of security, scalability, and operational excellence is essential.
Responsibilities   Design and maintain cloud infrastructure with multi-cloud extensibility in mind.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Java backend and React frontend applications.
Implement infrastructure as code for consistent, repeatable deployments.
Manage containerized workloads and orchestration platforms.
Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using cloud-native and third-party tools.
Implement security best practices including secrets management, IAM policies, and network security.
Support development teams with environment provisioning and troubleshooting.
Drive automation initiatives to reduce toil and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications   +6 years of professional experience in Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

Experience with containerization (Docker) and container orchestration concepts.
Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or cloud-native equivalents).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices (Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Cloud Build, or similar).
Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.
Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, load balancing, DNS, firewalls).

Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, cloud-native monitoring, or similar).
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Experience with Git Ops workflows and version-controlled infrastructure.
Additional information   Fully remote position; candidates must already be based in Canada and have legal work authorization in the country.

Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $90.000-$140.000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
