Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Informatica CAI and CDI Developer with strong experience in the telematics and connected vehicle domain. The role focuses on designing and implementing real time integrations and data pipelines that ingest, process, and distribute high volume vehicle and IoT data across cloud and enterprise ecosystems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop real time and event driven integrations using Informatica CAI
  • Build synchronous and asynchronous integration processes using CAI Process Designer
  • Develop and expose REST SOAP APIs for connected vehicle and enterprise integrations
  • Configure and manage connectors, adapters, and Secure Agents
  • Implement error handling, retries, logging, and exception frameworks
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations using CAI Application Integration Console
  • Design and develop batch and incremental data pipelines using Informatica CDI
  • Ingest, transform, and load large volumes of vehicle telemetry, sensor, and diagnostic data
  • Optimize mappings for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implement data validation, data quality checks, and reconciliation logic
  • Support data delivery to data lakes, warehouses, and analytics platforms
  • Work with telematics data such as GPS location data Vehicle health and diagnostics Driver behavior and trip data Sensor and event data
  • Must Haves:
    • Mid-level Informatica and IICS development experience
    • CAI - Cloud Application Integration experience (including APIs)
    • Snowflake Cloud DW experience
    • Able to code and process large volume of raw data in SQL
    • Skill debugging/troubleshooting/RCA
    • Agile and Dev Ops experience and best practices - automating processes, test cases, ticketing
    • Solid communication skills - this person must be a doer with the ability to multi-task, move quickly, remain engaged with team, and be reliable throughout the day
  • Nice-to-haves:
    • P&C Insurance domain expertise
    • Telematics and connected vehicle domain
  • Top Responsibilities:
    • Coding / Writing complex queries in SQL
    • Configuring ingestion pipelines using EDP Ingestion Framework, Informatica, and UC4
    • Understands and shares development agile / Dev Ops best practices in terms of managing code, test cases, development stories assigned.
  • Data Engineering activities: data pipeline creation, ETL, application integration, etc.

    Salary and Other Compensation:

    Applications will be accepted until February 29th 2026. The annual salary for this position is between $120- $130K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

    Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
