Job Description
Join our team as an IT Specialist and become one of the authors of our story. The IT Specialist supports hardware and software for a Luxury Resort and will need to be able to provide on-site support for the technological needs of the daily operations, for guests of the resort, residential renters, and team members who may work on site or remotely.
Work is conducted primarily at the resort with occasional remote work required as the operation requires.
- Technical support for end-users using Windows Operating Systems on Laptop and Desktop computers and a small minority of MAC laptops.
- Mobile Device support
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Manage Windows Servers being used for file & print services, plus an array of specialized services that support resort-based software.
- Support Restaurant POS system.
- Support VoIP system basic needs and engage with the vendor for more advanced requirements
- New user setup for Jumpcloud SSO/G Suite/Office 365/PMS and POS systems
- Manage user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
Required:
- Experience with networking, including Ethernet switching DNS DHCP IP Addressing and VLANs
- Windows Operating systems. Windows 11 and Servers
- Office applications including Microsoft Office and G Suite.
- Multi‑tasking; ability to prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects at once
- Excellent problem solving/ analytical skills;
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry a Plus
Preferred:
- Experience with PMS Opera Cloud
- Experience with POS Simphony
- Experience with Xorcom phone PBX system
- Networking knowledge
- Powershell knowledge
- A/V skills
