• Partner with the sales team to articulate the overall value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers
• Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase, addressing any issues or concerns
• Technically close complex opportunities through advanced knowledge and credibility
• Deliver product and technical briefings/presentations to potential clients
• Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer input, both wins and losses

• Minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or Dev Ops Engineering role
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate mission benefits and technical advantages
• Experience in programming/scripting with languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.
  
  JS, PHP, and .NET
• Ability to travel via auto, train, or air up to 45% of the time
• Ability to sit for up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client sites

• Passionate about educating agencies on observability risks relevant to their missions
• Prior experience in technical sales or customer‑facing roles
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and modernization initiatives
