TEKsystems is seeking an experienced CCIE‑level (Data Center) Network Engineer to join a high‑impact engineering team supporting a mix of Federal and Commercial customers. This role involves pre‑sales engineering, architectural design, and hands‑on operational support across complex enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate is an expert‑level network expert with deep Cisco knowledge, a strong consulting mindset, and the ability to guide customers through large‑scale modernization initiatives.

• Deliver advanced enterprise and data center networking expertise across customer environments
• Participate in pre‑sales engagements, technical scoping, and architectural recommendations
• Design, deploy, and optimize large‑scale network solutions leveraging Cisco’s latest technologies
• Provide expert troubleshooting and operational support for critical network infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with internal practice leadership and external customer teams
• Maintain active CCIE (Data Center) certification to support partner‑level requirements

• Active CCIE – Data Center certification
• 10+ years of enterprise networking engineering experience
• Deep technical experience working with the Cisco product suite, including: SDN, SDA, SD‑WAN, Nexus, ACI, wireless, WAN
• Strong understanding of core networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP
• Proven experience designing and supporting large‑scale, complex network architectures

• Expert troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, wireless, and data center platforms
• Ability to operate in both customer‑facing and hands‑on engineering roles
• Strong communication skills, including documentation and architectural explanation
• Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites for project work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reston, VA.

The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $90.00/hr.
