NOC Project ManagerAs a Network Operations Center (NOC) Project Manager
, you will be responsible for planning and delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives across our Internet Service Provider (ISP) network environment. The ideal candidate would have hands‑on familiarity with NOC operations, IP/MPLS and transport networks, OSS/NMS/EMS platforms, and ITIL‑based service management, paired with strong project management discipline.
- Own the full project lifecycle for network operations initiatives—from scoping and planning aspects with relevant stakeholders and experts, coordinating with cross‑functional teams and driving implementation, to follow ups and closeout.
- Lead requirements workshops; produce detailed minutes, action registers, and stakeholder communications.
- Build and track integrated project schedules and resource plans using tools such as Jira.
- Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and change control; escalate impediments and drive timely decision‑making.
- Provide clear, concise status updates and executive‑ready reporting on milestones, and outcomes.
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution (Engineering, NOC, Field Ops, IT, Security, Supply Chain, Vendors) for Network Operations initiatives to drive efficiency and growth in business processes and systems.
- Facilitate change enablement, CAB reviews, and Root Cause Analysis incident reviews and reporting.
- Incident Root Cause Analysis - Track and drive NOC and interdepartmental related Action Items
- Improve service KPIs (availability, incident volume, MTTR, change success rate) through continuous improvement efforts.
- As needed, partner with Net Ops/Dev Ops to help deliver NMS/EMS/OSS integrations alongside the Technical PM (e.g., alarm/perf telemetry, topology, inventory, ticketing, and paging).
- Coordinate dashboards and executive views (e.g., Grafana/Power BI) for service health and KPIs; standardize data sources and definitions.
- Identify automation opportunities (e.g., provisioning, detection, remediation) and deliver recommendations where appropriate.
- Contribute to business cases, budgeting/forecasting, and cost tracking as requested or needed.
- Help coordinate disaster recovery planning, drills, and documentation; ensure sparing strategies and RMA workflows are in place.
- Manage post DR events and testing reviews; coordinate communications, meeting agendas, and action items follow ups. Ensuring all findings, updates and changes are documented appropriately.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (IT, Telecommunications, Engineering) preferred.
- 1+ years of project management experience preferably in telecommunications, ISP, or network operations environments.
- High level understanding of IP networking (BGP/OSPF/MPLS/QoS) and transport (DWDM/Ethernet).
- Experience working with Network Operations and NOC processes.
- Proficiency with project tools (e.g., MS Project/Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence) and standard PM artifacts.
- Willingness to work as a team and independently.
- Travel to Evansville, IN twice a year.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- May require after‑hours and occasional weekend work.
- Professional certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2 and ITIL Foundation preferred.
- Scripting/automation experience (Python, Ansible, Terraform) and familiarity with OSS/NMS/EMS integrations a plus.
- Clear written and verbal communication; ability to tailor for executives and technical teams.
- Leadership and facilitation across cross‑functional teams; ability to influence without authority.
- Analytical, structured problem solving; bias for action and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
