IT Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the Data & AI Enablement team in leading critical initiatives aligned to 1

LMX milestones. This role will be responsible for managing complex technology projects, including data platform installations, system upgrades, and enterprise data modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will drive cross‑functional coordination, ensure milestone adherence, and deliver scalable, high‑impact solutions that accelerate data and AI capabilities across the organization.

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Data & AI initiatives supporting 1
  
  LMX strategic milestones
• Manage data platform installations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource management
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, Architecture, and Business stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and data governance standards
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
• Drive executive‑level status reporting and milestone tracking
• Facilitate vendor coordination where applicable
• Ensure successful handoff to operations and support teams post‑implementation

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Proven experience delivering data platform or enterprise technology implementations
• Strong understanding of data architecture, cloud platforms, and AI/analytics ecosystems
• Experience managing large‑scale installations and system upgrades
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills

• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives (e.g., 1
  
  LMX or similar large‑scale modernization programs)
• PMP, Agile, or equivalent certification
• Experience with cloud‑based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with data governance, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements

• Ability to Work Remotely: Full‑time Remote Telework:
  The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
• Work Schedules:
  Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
• Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York: $120,100 - $208,150. For other states, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Salary is a general guideline and may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market considerations. This position is incentive plan eligible.
