Job Description
This remote contract position involves providing technical support for diagnostic imaging systems and picture archiving and communication systems across a network. The role focuses on IT infrastructure refresh initiatives affecting imaging modalities and clinical workflows. Key technologies include medical image management systems and general system integration tools.
Title: Imaging and PACS specialist
Location: Remote
Position Type: Contract
Compensation: Pay Range: $55.00 Per Hr
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute project plans for IT infrastructure refresh initiatives and other imaging-related projects.
- Support system readiness for new site openings, including configuration and validation.
- Configure and validate imaging software integrations during refresh activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support imaging software, minimizing customization.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues, ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years supporting medical imaging systems or radiology IT.
- Experience with multi-site imaging solutions and system integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
