About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and communicative IT Support Specialist to provide technical support for small businesses in the United States. This is a full‑time remote role with a focus on helping non‑technical users solve everyday IT issues while growing skills in IT security and automation.

• Provide IT support and troubleshooting for computers, software, printers, and other devices.
• Manage and update a Kanban board of IT tasks, collaborating with the client to resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist with basic IT security and system management tasks over time.
• Document issues and resolutions clearly, ensuring follow-through until completion.

• 3+ years of experience in customer support, working directly with clients to provide assistance and resolve issues.
• Strong communication skills, with patience and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, clear way.
• Prior experience in general IT support (even if not highly technical).
• Knowledge of Google Workspace and Windows.
• Familiarity with automation scripting (Power Shell, Bash, Python) or a strong interest and willingness to learn these skills for small tasks.
• Clear communicator with excellent English. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with traditional end‑user support:
  Windows/macOS basics, slow machines, Wi‑Fi, browsers/extensions, peripherals.
• Strong documentation skills and reliability.
• Reliable remote work setup and commitment to long‑term stability.
