Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is currently seeking a Scheduler to support the Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), at Nellis, AFB, NV. The individual’s primary responsibilities will be to manage end‑to‑end project planning by defining scope, goals, deliverables, and detailed schedules while overseeing resources, task dependencies, and progress tracking. The Scheduler will promote and ensure efficient operations by monitoring milestones, identifying risks, implementing mitigation plans, and communicating status updates to stakeholders using tools like Gantt charts, MS Project reports, and dashboards.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and create detailed schedules and timelines.
- Working knowledge of Gantt charts, baselines, resource allocations, task dependencies, and WBS structures.
- Allocate resources (personnel and facility capabilities) and manage tasks across teams. Working knowledge of resource leveling.
- Analyze and monitor progress, track milestones, identify issues, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of milestone and critical path reporting.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and resolve project roadblocks.
- Working knowledge of schedule risk analysis, creation and tracking of mitigation plans.
- Manage expectations, coordinate with teams, and report on project status.
- Working knowledge of MS Projects Reports and Dashboard tools (example: One Pager).
- Strong grasp of methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
- Skilled in using MS Project software to plan, schedule, resource, track, and report on various projects.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD TS/SCI and relevant SAP/SARClearance.
- Must have held an active Top Secret Clearance within the last 24 months.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
