OverviewWe are seeking an experienced UAT Quality Analyst IV to lead complex User Acceptance Testing initiatives within a multi‑functional business environment. This senior‑level role is responsible for ensuring high‑quality delivery of UAT activities across large, cross‑departmental projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in business processes, quality assurance methodologies, and project leadership to drive continuous improvement and ensure no KPI degradation through the project lifecycle.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Lead UAT efforts for complex, multi‑team projects; act as the primary owner of all business‑related testing activities.
- Develop and execute UAT, regression, and end‑to‑end functional test plans using industry‑standard methodologies.
- Review business requirements, system specifications, architecture, and design documentation to support early test planning.
- Ensure adequate test coverage through close collaboration with Business, QA, and Development teams.
- Report test results, document defects, and verify fixes through the defect lifecycle.
- Prepare, manage, and validate test data for UAT scenarios.
- Compile final test documentation and support go‑live and post‑implementation activities.
- Serve as a project manager for UAT deliverables—develop test strategies, estimate resources, create schedules, and track execution.
- Monitor UAT progress, remove blockers, escalate risks and issues, and communicate status to project and senior leadership.
- Lead UAT defect triage, prioritizing issues based on business impact.
- Use metrics and KPIs to assess UAT effectiveness and drive process, practice, and tool improvements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to define quality goals and identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Perform workflow analysis, identify quality gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Manage UAT activities across multiple Agile teams or functional areas simultaneously.
- Utilize AI‑enabled tools and technologies to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision‑making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in business, health insurance, or general healthcare industries.
- 7+ years of experience defining/analyzing business requirements, process modeling, and executing acceptance testing.
- At least 2 years leading UAT efforts for multiple complex corporate projects, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance domains;
Facets experience strongly preferred. - Proven ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive test cases and scripts.
- Demonstrated experience with Jira and other QA/testing tools.
- Experience writing and executing SQL queries to support UAT.
- Ability to prioritize test scenarios using a risk‑based approach.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
- Ability to summarize UAT status, develop execution metrics, and escalated issues where appropriate.
- Experience analyzing defect leakage and leveraging insights to improve future testing cycles.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent UAT work streams across varied business functions.
- Experience in functional business areas such as claims processing, membership, or customer service.
- Expertise in process improvement, workflow analysis, and UAT governance.
- Demonstrated success driving quality outcomes across complex, multi‑team programs.
